An Open Letter to the People Who Love My Boyfriend

       

Dear everyone,

           

Hi!

I’m pretty sure you all have a list of people you care for, people you love. I just feel it’s necessary for me to thank you for being one of the people behind this guy I care so much for. You see, he’s hundreds of people rolled into one. Because of the people he grew up with, hung out with, or spent a summer with, I have this person who’s sorta like a chameleon. He enjoys different sorts of music, he’d love to try anything out, he’s sociable. Let’s just sum it up by saying: he’s not me. And I love him for that.

I love him for the experiences he has that I wish I could share. His crazy childhood moments that I wish could be played back before my very eyes. I love him for the ideas he gets from his workmates, his buddies, his family. I love the way he looks at life. At some point, he probably looked at it a certain way because you must’ve influenced him. Thank God you did.

I’m not thanking all of you in behalf of him, though. Or in a way, maybe I am. But really, I’m thanking you because I wouldn’t have a crazy, sincere, humble, annoying guy beside me had it not been for everyone else who loves him. He’s a great person because that’s what he allowed himself to be, yes. But he’s also a great person because of those who pushed him (positively or negatively) to be one.

I’d love to be able to get to know all of you in the future. I don’t know how long we’ll last, but I’m seeing a pretty decent forever in front of us. *wink* There’s so  much I’d like to ask and probably, stories that I need to hear. That, though, is for the future.

All I have for now are Thank You’s, tiny wishes that everyone be loved as much as my boyfriend is loved or even more, and this one big wish that people would reach out to him today more than ever. You see, my job is to keep him happy and sane. Seeing that I can’t do anything about his (in)sanity (bwahaha), I might as well just make him happy.

So let’s go make him insanely happy, shall we? ☺
