Pilot Addiction

my Pilot pens

I’ve been a Pilot pen user since my high school days. Of course I’ve used other brands, but I feel more comfortable when I write using Pilot. They’re just absolutely better than other not-so-expensive pens we have here in the Philippines. Plus points ’cause they look better too. :)

Last year, I blogged about my Pilot pen wishlist and sadly, I was only able to cross out just one pen among the list. I think we get our Pilot pens somewhere else in Asia, which is sad ’cause that would mean we wouldn’t see all of their products (a.k.a. the products on my wishlist) in our local bookstores. Boo. Anyhow, here are the pens I currently have:

I’m sad that I wasn’t able to collect as much as I wanted to. It’s all ’cause I don’t trust myself that when I go to a local bookstore, I’d buy just one pen. I know I’d go crazy. But this coming 2012, I have to buy more Pilot pens. Yes to planning and determination, ignore budget (lol). For this, I’m gonna be a little more realistic and make a Pilot pen wishlist based on what National Bookstore branches have.  Here goes:

There you go. Those are the only ones I could find over on NBS’s site. I’d try other bookstores, but I think it’s good to have an initial list. Once I have a good number of Pilot pens, I’d start collecting cute colored pens also from Pilot. I know I sound crazy, but of course it’s not my priority. I just have to feed my addiction. :)

Cupped :P

This is the coffee mug I was talking about on my previous entry discussing unique cups/glasses. It’s about an inch shorter than a regular Starbucks tumbler and could hold up to two cups of coffee. It’s quite big, yes.

Mitch and I found this while walking around Glorietta after work hours. We found this in a shop called Seeds, which holds quite a lot of unique handcrafted household items, jewelry, and art pieces. This particular mug costs 350pesos and was the only big one left, but I was lucky that they were holding a sale that day, so I got it for a little over 200pesos. For something as adorable as this, that’s a great steal.

I was able to visit Seeds the other day and saw three mugs with the same concept. Only small ones remain, though. I guess the big mugs are more appealing than their petite counterpart.

The petite (as I’d like to call them) mugs sell for 200-250pesos. I’m giving myself a margin of error here since I can’t remember the exact price ‘cause I was focused on looking for a going away gift for The Boyfriend’s little cousin.

Seeds is located at Glorietta 4 near Food Choices and across Holland Tulips.

Blots

I’m currently addicted to pens.

Not up to the point of putting up a blog about pens, oh heck no. But I do admire those who have pen blogs. I’m just not as dedicated as they are, blame my lazy ass.

Anyhow, I find bulky pens really attractive. Hence, my Pilot Just Meet ballpoint pen and my Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto. I’ve yet to find a photo of the former, but here’s a pic of the Coleto (taken from this link).

I have the usual (a.k.a. boring) colors of red, blue, and black, which reminds me to buy another Coleto with a colored case and three neon colors. [scribbles on notepad with the heading: “must-not-forget”]

Aside from these Pilot pens, I have the usual Pilot Retractable and G-Tech pens. In black ink, yet again. I should really buy pens of other ink colors. That’s my must-not-forget # 2.

I wish I wish

My love for Pilot pen led me to make this wishlist:

- Pilot Dr. Grip Fure Fure BeatNic Multi-Pen and Pencil (the white and yellow ones are adorable)
- Pilot Hi-Tec-C Slims Multi Pen (gotta love the blue one)
- Pilot Hi-Tec-C Putimo 0.4mm (talk about fun pens ^^)
- Pilot FriXion Biz Erasable Gel Ink Pen (less strikethrough)
- Pilot Hi-Tec-C Cavalier (me wants the 0.4mm please)
- Pilot Symmetry Ballpoint Pen (fat pen, oh yeah!)
- Pilot Timeline Gel (because it looks darn pretty)
- Pilot Ageless Collection (dunno why these pens remind me of Power Rangers, haha. btw, they’ve pink, green, and sky blue as well. cool, eh?)

There you go, my wish list. I better tell my cousins in Japan about this. ;P
